Three-Phase capacitor for low
voltage industrial power factor correction with high safety and
long lasting reliability - suitable
high stress applications,
using the single-phase capacitor MFHC 3 IN.
Capacitors of the CMR-MHC series are suitable for performing in
the presence of high current stresses resulting from harmonic
distortion, (max. 3
IN),
providing maximum reliability and safety, where traditional
capacitors in metallised polypropylene could undergo degradation.
The
design of the three-phase CMR-MHC capacitor is made using
single-phase capacitors of our series MFHC in an aluminium case,
equipped with an overpressure safety device, bi-metallised
self-healing paper plates, polypropylene film dielectric and
filling under high vacuum with a biodegradable non toxic oil
which assures the total absence of partial discharges. The
construction technology of the single-phase MFHC capacitors can
withstand very high peak currents as well as the three-phase
CMR-HC capacitors.
The
case of the CMR-MHC capacitor is a sheet steel protected against
corrosion by a phosphating treatment, epoxy powder painted, with
special slits for natural cooling.
The connection to the mains is made by M8 threaded fixing
screws.
The
three-phase CMR-MHC capacitor is manufactured in the 2 voltage
ranges 400Vac - 460Vac.
